The Harvest Moon Run committee has designed a challenging 10Mile/5K race course and combined it with a number of fun activities for the entire family. The key to the event is to have fun while raising money to benefit St. Philip’s Student Ministry. Young people desperately want their lives to count, and strongly desire to make a difference in the world. We believe in middle and high school students, and come alongside them in discovering how they can truly make a difference.
It’s more than a race
It’s a family event that people look forward to all year. Activities for all ages include a 5k walk, a kids fun run and of course, our signature after the race, apple crisp. We’re fortunate enough to be able to enjoy the setting of the majestic hills of Moon Township in the fall season which makes an outstanding venue for this event. We look forward to seeing you and your family and friends!
Volunteer Information
Many volunteers are needed to host the race. Help is needed to set up and clean up. We need people to encourage and direct runners at water stops. People are needed to man the registration and even to help with making the famous post race apple crisp. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kimberly Chickini at 412.496.1890.
